Has life ever gotten hard for you? Have you ever had "stuff" happen so much back to back that your left wondering what in the world? Life is not easy that is for sure. Things happen in seasons and for a reason. We may not always see the reason why, but rest assured God has a plan.
I love at Bible Gateway they have so many translations of the Bible to study from. I like the NIV translation as seen in my art above. But, I love the Complete Jewish Bible translation of Philippians 3:14 too.
Philippians 3:14Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) 14 I keep pursuing the goal in order to win the prize offered by God’s upward calling in the Messiah Yeshua.
Ok right there is such an awesome wow factor in that verse. Ok,,, as if salvation in itself is not enough God even will reward us for pressing on in this life and living out your walk in Messiah Christ Jesus. To think God has a prize for us? God is such a good daddy. He is so amazing there are no words.
What are you doing to press on? Are you just floating by barely? There are times we may end up like that for a moment but you should never stay that way. Are you rising up above the waves of the storm to not let them bury you? Or are you walking on them? Keep your eyes on the one who has saved you already. Jesus. Keep your eyes on him at all times in all circumstances. Simply put, keep your life centered on him Yeshua, Mighty Jesus Christ the King of Kings, Lord of Lords. If you do and live focused on him and what he has already done about your problem at the Cross and what he is doing now and what he is about to do on your behalf in the future, then worry CAN NOT pull you under for good.
Imagine while in prayer walking up to the throne of the Father and laying your problem down at his feet. Say, Father I can not do this. You take care of it for me. He will. But do not walk back and pick it up. Let it alone!
Worry is of course the opposite of faith. Faith pleases God. So if faith pleases God and it is opposite of worry then, don't worry, be happy! Have faith that God's got this. Remember that song from the 80-'s? For real listen to it and be happy! Press on. It will get better! God even has a prize waiting for you on the other side. I think he is pleased when he sees us stopping worrying so much and trusting in him!
So in closing. The two good reasons to not worry be happy? God's really got this and sees the solutions so do not carry the weight of life alone. And he even has a prize for you later.

In 2017 where will your focus be? In 2017 where will your alignment be?
I know some will create new years resulutions. Some will create goals. But do you think of your center focus? Your partnerships and alignments? What will you focus on and what will you align with or whom?
At this moment this week I am experiancing a renewal with Abba Father. First I want to talk about focus. I want my focus to be what he wants it to be and right now that focus is on Him. I want my focus in 2017 to be that of what ever is true, noble, righteous, pure, loveable, vituous, or praiseworthy.
Philippians 4:8 [Full Chapter]
In conclusion, brothers, focus your thoughts on what is true, noble, righteous, pure, lovable or admirable, on some virtue or on something praiseworthy.
When your mind is set on things of the Father it is hard for negative stinking thinking to over take you. When you focus on him and good things it is hard for depression to cling to you and over take you. If you are a beliver in Christ Jesus your one day closer to meeting him, so why not rejoice for things to come even if at this moment you have had a really bad day! He will deliver you.
Focus your minds on the things above, not on things here on earth.
Alignment according to the dictionary means a position of agreement or alliance. What are you coming into agreement with? Is it the troubles the devil has shown you lately? Is it depression? Is it finacial brokeness? Is it false peace? Is it realationship troubles?
Or are you aligning yourself with what God sees about your situations? He sees the victory and has already won it on the cross. He just wants you to align with him and he will guide you out of the darkness of the situation.
1 Corinthians 15:57 [Full Chapter]
but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah!
I want to align with and come into agreement with God's take on things. His take is what truly matters! Not letting the tempary before my eyes or hard moment overwhelm me. His will is the safest place to be on earth. Walking with the Father on his path is the right road period. Ask yourself what will you align yourself with in 2017. Make sure it is partnerships that will be healthy for your soul and future.
I choose to align and partner with God's plans for me in 2017. That is where true sucess will be found in all areas of my life. All glory and honor be unto God! I know when I make plans without God I fail. I want my partner to be God. Whom will you align with this year? Yourself, the world, or the most high God?
I have faced many losses in my life. At this time of year it can be hard on many people for many reasons. Depression can run rampant for some. There has been years I let it ruin my holidays. Really for the average public it boils down to a persons out look. We can choose happiness or sadness. I ask myself this holiday which do I choose? I choose joy. I choose to not focus on the difficult year I have had, focus on the loved ones who aren't around anymore, the loved ones who are acting difficult etc.! I want to share with you my tips on finding joy this Christmas.
With the Holidays here there is so much to get done until the end of 2016. This year has been a busy year for many only to end the year staying busy with holiday preparations and celebrations. Self care has been something I am trying to work on in my life. It is important during all the busy to take time out for yourself, so why not take a relaxing bath? I will share with you some tips on how to make the most of your bath!
Tip 1: Start with a clean bathroom. Really who wants to sit in a dirty tub? Where there is dirty and clutter there is stress. Before you take time to relax really make sure your bathroom is clean. Plan ahead. It will make a big difference on the atmosphere and the mind as you relax. It is way more satisfying.
Tip 2: While the bath is running add some Epson salt. Add at least a cup or three. Mix well and allow it to dissolve. This will help you detox and relax those muscles.
Tip 3: Add at least 7 to 10 drops of your favorite essential oil. Essential oils usefulness are endless. They will also aid in detoxing, skin care, aromatherapy and relaxing.
Tip 4: Light candles. Light candles with or without scent. Aromatherapy is a real thing and can aid in healing if you choose scented. So is ambiance of the atmosphere. It will make it more relaxing and send the signal to your brain that you are worth this moment. Don't skip this step!
Tip 5: Grab a tub pillow, some music or a book to enjoy while you rest. What ever will allow you to rest mentally during your bath escape do it. For me I wouldn't enjoy sounds but the silent personally to mentally relax my mind but it may be different for you. If you do not have a tub pillow just fold a towel up to rest your head on as you lay back in the tub. It is way more comfortable that way.
Tip 6: Consider upgrading your bathroom in the new year. No matter the size you could use Eco friendly W2 by WETSTYLE. This series is classically designed for the smaller bath to add elegance and an appealing comfort to your room. I love the tubs in this series so much. Ok who wants to spend the entire Thanksgiving day cooking when you can spend time with family and friends. So to make the holiday easier I have compiled a list of 10 awesome Thanksgiving hacks!
I will be using the Jennie-O Oven Ready Turkey! Yep Jennie-O has Cajun Style. This will be different for us this year trying the Cajun Style. I am so happy I will not have to thaw this baby. Last years oven ready turkey was simply amazing and took all the work out of cooking a turkey. Anyone could do this.

Ok so those of you who have followed me a while know I love the Dollar Tree. Well I wanted a cheap, fast, easy wreath idea for 2016 and this is what I came up with. Maybe it is not as lovely as all the fantastic crafting you see on Pinterest but it did exactly what I wanted it to do! It took five minutes, required no glue, costs only four to make it. I bought two of everything so I could make one for my sweet neighbor.
All you need from the Dollar Tree:
So you take the leaf garland and you weave it in the wreath. Make sure to tuck in deep slots of the wreath your plain parts of the vine. This will hold the garland on the wreath with no glue needed.
Save your metal twist ties off the packages to anchor down your looser spots of the vine on the wreath.
Take your scarecrow or raven picks and place them into the wreath. Once placed how you want them towards the bottom break off the picks stick that over hangs. It is very easy.
Take your fall ribbon and use it for your hanger. Just cut as much as you want and tie at very top. I did not want it fancy but kept it simple. I am not good at making bows anyways. If you tie up the wire ribbon it will hold the wreath up very well.
Five minutes. No glue. No skills needed. And at only four dollars to make I think this is super cute to rock any budget this Fall.

I am a Hormel Extended Family Blogger. I receive Hormel products for free but all thoughts are my very own.
In this day in age with Pinterest and all the perfect looking holiday decorations & Christmas trees you may feel a bit over whelmed to try and have the prefect tree. Well I am not here to dazzle you with what I think is the perfect looking tree. There is enough bloggers out there that can supply that. I am here to be super down to earth & super cheap. I am truly starting to see the beauty in imperfection lately.
Our family tree each year has varied in size. Varied in themes. Some years we used all homemade ornaments. Some years store bought. One year I remember running my light bill up baking all day orange slices in cinnamon for a colonial tree. This year we still live in an apartment so space is limited. We have a little table top tree. It is a five foot tiny little thing we have in the living room on our very tall wall. We decided to use Dollar Tree ornaments this year. Yep nothing fancy & super cheap. I like to be frugal as you know. Other than something you make free at home from stuff you already have, you can't get much cheaper than a dollar in America for a cute pre-made ornament. My whole tree is all dollar tree items. I also went right outside my home & found some cute little pine cones. I cut up some scrap red & white checker fabric I had already to make ribbons to hang them. I am guessing our theme this year is a winter woodland theme?! lol
I used to think that for a holiday you had to decorate every inch of the home. I now realize truly that I do like to decorate but I love keeping it simple. I find the beauty in simple. So only a few spots in my home will have holiday accents not every where you look.
I have been studying lately and really I do not believe Jesus was born on the day our world celebrates his birth historically BUT however since this society does celebrate it in Dec. this tree is decorated for Jesus mighty Yeshua! Happy birthday Lord Jesus!
My girl ever since she was old enough to help decorate a tree since age 2 she has hung an ornament super low on a branch dragging the ground. At times the perfectionism in me would want to move it when I was a younger mom but I learned to heed knowing someday I would miss it. It's been 16 years. She is 16 and I don't think she realizes she still does it. I do. I have seen it every year and I cherish it. I will miss the day it doesn't happen any more. So this year that ornament stays again hanging super low.
I like the little white snow trees Dollar Tree had. I also loved the snow ball bells & the snow deer! But my favorite is the little birds. I used the cardinals since it is our state bird. I was so happy Dollar Tree had them.
Simple for us is better & cheaper. We are proud of our little tiny low budget tree. It does not have to cost a lot or be large to be darling & sweet!
I am part of the Jennie-O Switch Circle Blog Team. I received this Turkey free but all my thoughts are my very own.
I am super excited y'all yippee................. because this year I got a turkey to cook up for the family that requires not work to be delicious. I truly love easy. I love easy crafts. I love easy cooking. So Jennie-O was singing my tune when they sent me thisOven Ready Turkey. I have never tried an oven ready turkey that you do not thaw. This is a new concept to me but hey I am not complaining! This turkey might just trim 36 hours of my prep time this year. The turkey truly got me to thinking about a lot of things about the Thanksgiving holiday and some of the stresses it can bring. I love my fellow blogger Michelle Kurke's advice on it over atCommon Sense Housekeeping. Go by there & read it!
Now I would like to share with you some thanksgiving help from Jennie-o! They have it all figured out for you! Just click a link below.
Below leave me your stress free tips for the holiday!
Have a happy Thanksgiving all !
I just love Spring! It is like all of God's creation simply bursts forth with such vibrancy! Celebrate Spring with me and listen to my favorite Mozart tune as I share some of my past Spring pictures I have taken. I have so many but I will share just a few and save the others for another time.
Happy Spring & thank you friends for visiting!
Hi friends! I would like to share with you today some of my families tips to help make your Easter holiday peaceful & easy.
Easter comes early this year on April 5th and it will be here before you know it. I just love this time of year as new life awakens beyond the winters cold past and flowers bloom. Easter is by far my favorite holiday of the year during my favorite season of the year. As we celebrate new life there is so much to be thankful for. Thankfulness is not just for Thanksgiving. Easter is a great time for family & friends to gather together. Each year we have a tradition at our house. We have a thankful jar. During the week before Easter we place at random a piece of paper with something we are thankful for into the jar. At the holiday meal table we pass the jar around during the meal and take turns picking a piece of paper and reading it. We love this tradition and it brings a spotlight memory each holiday that long after new flowers die the memories never will. You might want to start your own thankful jar!
With that said time is so very sweet and valuable. Time we can never get back so I have another tip to holiday peace & tranquility. Instead of spending hours in the kitchen when I could be spending that with my family during the holiday I went to HoneyBaked Ham to provide our seasonal meal. What's great about HoneyBaked is you do not have to wait till a holiday to buy a fantastic meal you can get one any time. I love the time that HoneyBaked Ham saved me so I could spend more time with my loved ones being thankful & making new memories.
This was my first time ever getting our meal from HoneyBaked Ham. I now am confused as to why I have not done this sooner. My first impression of the ham was amazement as I saw how perfectly pre-sliced it was saving me yet even more time. The ham was perfect and mouth watering. The texture of the ham & the turkey breast was spot on, the taste was simply out of this world.
Both the ham & turkey breast was so tender & juicy right from the store. With so much meat to eat we have some amazing meals planned this week to use the rest of this amazing meat beyond our gathering in some yummy meal plans to save us time. That is another tip HoneyBaked Hams & turkey meat not only provides for your entertaining but is great for time saving meals later in dishes.
The sides we got with our meal was the broccoli rice casserole & the mashed potatoes. The broccoli rice casserole was made with broccoli florets, long grain rice & a creamy 3 cheese blend. My family just loved this side dish and we all agreed it was our favorite. The mashed potatoes made with Yukon gold potatoes,a rich cream sauce and real butter couldn't of been any better. The best part of all the side dishes from HoneyBaked Ham they are ready for you to just heat and eat. No need to add anything to them. They are already seasoned to perfection. I would like to add if you plan to visit HoneyBaked Ham for your self sides vary by location.
HoneyBaked Ham has everything covered for you. They even offer gravy if you need it or rolls of all sorts to choose from. My family really enjoyed the buttery beauties pictured here. It was all so good. The meal in itself was so memorable in taste it too created yet another memory leaving my family to ask me, "why not do this every year"! I say, "sure why not"!
Why don't you too let HoneyBaked Ham help you create memories at your gathering and save you precious time!

Written by Jay Dee & Illustrated by Darren Geers " The Night Before The Night Before Christmas" is an unusual take on the hours before Christmas Eve. I must admit that at first when I was going to read the book I thought yes another Christmas book about Santa and Elves. Well there is nothing wrong with that and it's truly all cute & fun but you see I believe Christmas is all about celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus. So I was a tiny bit sad at first realizing how many books are made for kids at Christmas time that does not point them to the truth. I must admit at first I was a little judgmental of this book. Well as I read the book first to myself before I read to other kids, I went on a journey of one little Elf named Elfie. I cried as the simple yet surprising story happy married Santas' workshop into the true meaning of the night and that's it's all about the Saviours birth! Jesus was brought to this lovely book to be the center star! It made me cry a tear for real as I sat and realized finally a childrens story book that is fun, cute yet points in a simple yet profound way back to the true meaning of Christmas. In a day where the world is becoming all about ME ME & at holidays it's become so consumer driven it is fantastic to see a book of this grand message! You & your kids will be impressed with the vibrant illustrations & a real on time message so needed today! This will be a book you will want to give as a gift and keep one to pass down for generations to come. This story is good for any time of the year.

I needed a Christmas wreath for my front door. I did not want to spend a lot of money & wanted to be frugal. I wanted to have fun making a holiday wreath and not just buy one. So I went to the local Dollar Tree and bought a one dollar wire wreath & 2 packs of garland for a grand total of $3. I used old odd & ends ornaments I was about to toss out if I had not figured out to use them on this wreath. I used scrap ribbon for my hanger.
This project only took minutes to make. I looped the garland to make it thicker and then weaved each loop through the wire. That's pretty much it. I would bend a tiny piece on the inside to hook it in place. each loop facing the outer edges I would give a light twist to shape it. Before I knew it the wreath was full. Next I simply hot glued on the ornaments. This wreath is not a perfect one but I like to call my glorious sloppy fun wreath. It looks great & was so much fun to make. Any one can make one of these.
This wreath ends up being a really good size 17 X 17 !!! It looks great on my front door.
I just wanted to share with you today some ornaments we have made so far this year. We plan to make more with felt. I did not need patterns I just free handed. First up I made stuffed owls. I used cut up plastic bags folded up to stuff inside the owls. They are so cute & pudgy!
I made what I call cookie bears. I used only circles and one heart to make this. This one is not stuffed but only one layer to look like a cookie. For all these just use hot glue to make.
This is one of a bunch of Popsicle stick snow men we made years ago and used felt to decorate. I just wanted to show you an example for inspiration. Felt is so amazing & easy to work with and create so many things. At only .34 cents or so a sheet you can't beat that for frugal homemade ornaments.
