I was given by Antenna's Direct the Clearstream Amplified Eclipse to review for free. All opinions are my own.
You know my main theme of my site is to be frugal. Well one extreme way to be frugal and save a lot of money is to not have cable tv. Instead having an antenna will save you hundreds a year. You will get some great basic programming with out all of the filler channels. Our family is so happy we cut cable years ago to save money on our monthly budget. You can view my very firstAntenna's Direct review of the Long Range ClearStearm 2 here. Today they sent me the Clearstream Amplified Eclipse. This little antenna has a 35 mile range.
You can clearly see in the picture above why they call it the Eclipse! This surprised me at how super thin & flexible it was. It almost made me wonder could it get the job done? Well to my surprise it did. You simply peel off the back of the disk and stick on a window or wall near by your tv. It does not leave a harmful residue! I found this out after doing the standard channel search and needing to move it to adjust. This is the most light weight antenna I have ever held and easiest to use. I love that about it.
We live in an apartment that has sliding glass doors everywhere. So placing our antenna on the glass door near our tv unit was a natural given. I was so thrilled at the ease of hanging it and very quickly finding channels. This was so light weight I just can't get over it!
I also want to point out it is not really intrusive to look at on the window. I typically keep my shade pulled and opened only slightly and as you can see in my picture below you can barely see the antenna! Long gone are the days of ugly rabbit ears!
Antennas Direct is an amazing company for so many reasons. Here are some of my favorite reasons why & why I love their Eclipse.
I am awarding Antennas Direct Clearstream Eclipse the Homemaker-Mom Seal of Approval!
