ReplyDeblink04/17/2012 9:35amTo be beautiful, is to be pure. When God looks down upon us, he sees theheart. When man looks at us, he sees the outside. If our heart is pleasing to God, then our appearance will be also. I believe a woman should appear before the world decently, and femininely. It isn't easy these days to be feminine without looking provocative. The main stream is saturated with indecency. It is possible for a woman to appear decent and feminine, and look nice too. I believe when we look in the mirror, we should ask ourselves, "Would God be pleased with my appearance?". It just might take us on a Bible study journey for the Truth. Inner beauty, to me, is, being clean, decent, and feminine. We can't change what God has molded us to look like, but I believe we can take care of the temple that He has made to dwell in.
Sorry this was so long. I couldn't stop writing.......
ReplySusielink04/17/2012 9:57amNever say sorry for how long you write... YOU write all you want! Your so right in what you wrote and it will shine for Jesus to others a truth so many women need to hear more of these days!
ReplyBarblink04/18/2012 4:31amI have always been told: "Beauty is only skin deep, ugly is to the bone." Meaning that physical beauty is the outward appearance, but inner beauty can either be pleasant or ugly.
ReplySusielink04/18/2012 9:19amThat is a good way to look at it!
ReplyPeggy04/19/2012 5:40pmI believe that "Pretty is as pretty does." Even the plainest people are beautiful when shining from "inner beauty" and the prettiest people can lose their beauty when they are rude or mean.
ReplySusielink04/19/2012 6:28pmAmen to that!
ReplyDawn04/21/2012 9:56amLove the site Suzie , you're doing a great job!! See you on group :-)
ReplyDeblink04/21/2012 12:27pmI think, what I was trying to say was, if we are beautiful on the inside, it will show.

ReplyJeane04/23/2012 8:12pmI have seen some of the most beautiful women, and when you get to know them that beauty was diminished quickly. Your actions truly reflect what you are really like. If you are truthful, kind, giving and loving, those attributes will light your life up. You will come across as being bright and pretty. If you gossip, tell stories on others, or try hurting others that also will come out. That will usually portray you as a mean and hurtful person. When my girls were teens, I would ask them - how do you want people to see you? Do you want to be bright and pretty, or do you want people to see you as mean and hurtful. Those adjectives will stay with you for a long time. That is something that you will have to outgrow! I think beauty is truly only skin deep. I like to see a woman no matter what her age, that is confident, clean, hair and make-up on that loves life. Others will want to follow them and be like them. You might see an actress that is beautifully made up, but her actions to other people erases some of that beauty. Do we really want to follow the actions of others that diminishes their beauty, or do we want to follow the more natural looking person that has inner lasting beauty?
