Ok tonight was a sandwich night. My family wanted something different so I went to work thinking something up. So I grabbed some cans of flaky crescent rolls. I pulled them out of the can, but you know how typically the little triangles come in 2's attached to each other naturally in a rectangle shape? I kept it in that natural rectangle shape and sealed the line between them by pressing them together gently. Laying them flat I rubbed some low fat ranch dressing. I then used some Hormel Natural Choice Deli Roast Beef sandwich meat, topped that with provolone cheese, &Hormel's Turkey Pepperoni ( which is lower in fat!). You can also put in some spinach but I was out of spinach this evening sadly but will use next time. So then I fold them over not closing the sides. Bake as normal. Then I took two full sandwiches each person and stacked them with a dab of dressing in between.
Silly sounding or not my kids loved the new Pepperoni Flaky Tower Sandwich I had created!!
Low fat turkey pepperoni like Hormel's is such a great way to add that something different to any sandwich and give it that pop of flavor!
I received this Hormel product as a Hormel Extended Family Blogger. All opinions are my very own.
