There is such beauty in the simple. Simple is beauty. They go hand in hand. I love leaning in my decor towards the simple and minimalist side of things.
I was recently shopping in a thrift store and found some imperfect yet lovely old tea cups. The idea sparked me. Simply plant some grass seed in them. We can go buy fake grass decor anywhere. But really why buy fake?
I love walking by my window and seeing the bright, fresh, very much alive, grass. We all know plants help filter the air we breath including grass. What's really great about this is you do not need a green thumb. You just throw the grass seed in some dirt. Water once in a while. I call it my pet grass. It is soft to reach out and simply touch. You can cut it with scissors once it is to tall for your taste and you can have fun watching it grow all over again. And best of all it is cheap. You can get a handful of seed from a friend or neighbor with out having to buy a big bag.
It is simple, easy & stunning to look at. The beauty of simple, it is indeed.
