Have you ever stopped to think about ph balance for the human body. Most of us do not. I know for most of my life I didn't. But somewhere along the way on the information highway I learned of pH balance. My knowledge of this topic has grown a little more than I used to. But I still have so much to learn. I will share with you today tidbits of information I learned. Also I will share how to test your pH at home yourself.
If your body is to acidic it will reek havoc on your health. It can come in the form of: 1. cancer 2. fibromyalgia 3. diabetes 4. MS 5. heart diseases 6. brittle bones 7. arthritis if it continues over the long haul and possibly more. If your new to being to acidic, it can affect your immune system in so many ways. Just think about any uncomfortable health alignment and it can come from to much acid in your body.
But how do you know what level is right? If our level is off, how do we fix it?
First to see if your pH is on target simply purchase these Health Wiser pH Test Strips. You can use these for urine or saliva testing. You hold the strip in your specimen for only 15 seconds. Then you have to wait 15 more seconds for the test to fully develop.
Below I shared my test.
After the test is developed you compare it to the pH chart provided. A reading range of pH 6.5-7.5 is perfect. pH below 6.5 is acidic. If that happens then you should test at least three times in a day to get your average reading so you know what your dealing with. If it is over 7.5 then being too alkaline can also possibly be a problem. Balance is key. You should not eat two hours before the test.
Try to avoid acidic foods and drinks if your having an issue. Do some research to find out what foods your eating that are to acidic. Educate yourself.
Some ways to alkaline your body are:
