Recently I was sent a skin cleanser product called Cliradex Light and was asked to provide a review. I had never heard of Cliradex before but, after using the product for some time, I am now very grateful I did. Talk about perfect timing. My eyes have been suffering for two years--yes, you heard that right--two years of constant irritation. I could not for the life of me figure out the cause of this daily redness.
The typical culprits for eye irritation did not apply to me. I don't suffer from allergies and I don't have dry eyes. The thought never occurred to me that the redness could be caused by the four different types of facial cleansers I used every day. I wanted to test this theory and try Cliradex around my eyes for a week.
Before I tell you my results let me tell you the facts about Cliradex Light. It is an advanced foaming cleanser with 4-Terpineol. 4-Terpineol is the most important component of Tea Tree Oil. It will in fact do many things for your skin, but it also kills Demodex mites. In case you do not know, Demodex mites are tiny mites that can live near your eye lashes and cause itchy red swelling and crusty skin. Simply, yuck! Fortunately 4-Terpineol can treat and rid you of that condition if you ever find yourself with it. Cliradex Light is easy to obtain because it does not require a prescription. The product is also non-toxic and preservative-free, which especially appealed to me.
I first needed to test whether my facial washing products were causing redness in my eyes in the morning. I used Cliradex Light both morning and night for one week and these were the results:
1. I no longer needed to use eye makeup remover, because Cliradex gently washed my face and eye area.
2.My eyes and surrounding skin were no longer irritated.
3. Cliradex Light did not dry out my skin.
4. Cliradex helped to wash my eye area without causing redness! I was thrilled.
This was an interesting find. According to my week-long test, my other cleansers were indeed causing some of my daily eye redness. I will admit that not all of my eye redness went away, but my eyes looked at least 60 percent better daily! I was very pleased. Who knew my eyes had been sensitive to my facial products? Sadly, I had been putting in high-strength, chemically laden eye drops on a daily basis to counter eye redness, only to find out that long-term use of drops like that were not good for my eyes. Now with Cliradex Light, I will not need my eye drops as often and this makes me very happy.
If you struggle with sensitive eyes or other skin conditions such as Anterior Blepharitis, Posterior Blepharitis, or more, then I highly suggest trying this product. And to make things better, Cliradex always offers free shipping.
