Ok the next trip in my mission to banish clutter is a stop by the jewelry box. My jewelry was a large ball of jumbled junk. I could not ware most of my necklaces do to being tangled up & uncared for. I finally wanted to do something about it and bring organization to my jewelry with out spending a dime. I wanted to do it frugally. I love a challenge. So first I wanted a way to display my necklaces and easily get them in a hurry with out the worry of tangles. So I took an old cork board and covered it with pretty scrap booking paper.
Next I layed out my necklaces to see how to put them on the finished board and placed my push pins that will hold up the necklaces.
I made sure the papers I chose would match my rooms color scheme. If you do one of these you can display it with a plate stand as shown in the above first picture or you can hang on the wall. I myself hung mine on the wall to clear up space on my stand.
Next I took two wine glasses I already had, a small glass candle plate and a glass bowl that used to belong to my big brother & used them to organize my bracelets, ear rings, odds and ends. Here is the finished product!
I wanted simple & easy. I made it work with these simple items found at home! I love the new easy to get to jewelry displayed in my room. Life just got simpler.
