I am just so tickled pink to write today about a product that is made right here in my fine state of North Carolina. House-Autry was founded way back in 1812 and based in Four Oaks, NC. They produce authentic stone ground grits, chicken, seafood breaders, corn meal, hush puppy, biscuit & corn mixes. To me it is simply fascinating to learn this company has lived on for 200 years. Just astounding! A company that lives that long means it is innovative yet maintains stability & quality in their products. With House-Autry offering more than 3 dozen classic Southern products there is something yummy for everyone.
Now I would like to share today the House-Autry Seafood Breader. Of course you know you can use this to prepare your favorite seafood dishes. But today I want to show you that you can use it for even more than seafood. I wanted to do a new twist with it and make a vegetable tempura. This dish is sure to please. It is pure crispy southern goodness with a Asian flare! My family thought this was simply amazing.
