I grew up not liking fruit. As an adult I now like some fruit but it is rare that I eat it. I wanted to start making myself eat it somehow in a more enjoyable way for me. I found it! I make smoothies out of fresh fruit I freeze each week. I have blood sugar issues so protein is essential for me to balance myself. Just this past week I figured out how to boost my protein in my fruit smoothies! I add Skippy Natural Peanut Butter with Dark Chocolate! Thankfully it has 60 percent less sugar than regular peanut butter.
Here is what I put in my smoothie.
I love this so much! It is so chocolaty fruity good! I am enjoying fruit so much now for the first time in my life. With the above ingredients I totaled the protein of my smoothie comes to around 17- 18 grams! It is filling and carries me all morning in my busy days activities!
